Supporting Muslim Colleagues During Ramadan

Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar — a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community for Muslims around the world. As colleagues and leaders, being mindful of what this month means and what it asks of those observing it is one of the most tangible ways we can demonstrate inclusive leadership in action.

Commitment to learning matters. Black Excellence and Navigating Anti-Black Racism in the Workplace

Anti-Black racism is a unique and pervasive experience affecting people of African descent. It is rooted in a complex web of beliefs, attitudes, prejudices, and systemic stereotyping that specifically targets individuals who identify as, or are perceived to be, of African descent. Luksa: A Healing Space for Filipino Community Members + Friends

("Luksa" means mourning or grief in Tagalog—acknowledging collective loss.)

Join us for a Community Healing space for Filipino community members, family, and friends to gather in remembrance, grief, and collective care. As we honour the lives lost during the Lapu-Lapu Day festival vehicle attack in Vancouver, BC, we come together to support one another, hold space for our pain, and collective healing as we begin to process this tragedy alongside the community.

This is a space open to all - whether you are mourning, seeking connection, or simply needing to be held in community. A short opening guided meditation will be followed by an open forum to share experiences and feelings.

Attendance is free. Optional donations will go toward a charity supporting Filipino communities in Vancouver, BC.
