Allison Ramdial Ebanks is a Facilitator at Curated Leadership and a dedicated Indo-Caribbean Canadian researcher, educator, and facilitator committed to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice within educational and community contexts.

She brings extensive experience across primary, secondary, and post-secondary education, with expertise in adult education, curriculum design, and anti-oppressive pedagogy. Her work supports critical conversations that explore how identity, representation, and belonging shape experiences in both traditional and non-traditional learning environments.

Allison is currently completing her PhD in the Department of Social Justice Education at the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Her research examines how educators from diasporic and racialized communities in Ontario experience and construct their professional identities within Canadian schooling contexts.

Through critical narrative and decolonial approaches, her work explores how histories of migration, displacement, and systemic inequities influence educators’ sense of identity, pedagogical practice, and commitments to more just and life-affirming educational futures.

At Curated Leadership, Allison contributes to facilitation and learning engagements that support organizations in advancing equity-informed practices and fostering inclusive environments. Her approach bridges theory and practice through reflective and experiential learning, helping participants engage thoughtfully with issues of identity, representation, and belonging in their professional and community contexts.
